Zong 4G, along with updating its brand with cutting edge technology, also actively fulfills its corporate and social responsibility. In the past, we have seen the telecommunications company organize programs like breast cancer awareness, blood donation, student scholarships, etc. Recently, Zong 4G employees were seen at the Autism Research Center, where they voluntarily spend a day with children with autism spectrum disorder.

Here is a full press release that is posted on Zong’s official website:
Under the umbrella of their Employee Volunteer Program, ‘A New Hope’, Zong 4G volunteers visited children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Autism Research Center, Islamabad.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition characterized by social and communication difficulties and repetitive and inflexible behavior patterns.
Zong 4G’s participated in various group activities, modeled positive social interaction, and encouraged the children to have fun. For children with ASD, isolation is usually something that lasts a lifetime, making them more vulnerable to some degree. Using the language of art, New Hope volunteers gave the children the opportunity to express their feelings. The activities were carefully designed for these children to understand and bring joy and happiness.
Volunteers adhered to improving mental and emotional health by spending time with them and giving them the opportunity to communicate and break out of their isolation. Spreading magic and joy, the volunteers surprised the children with gifts, which left them in awe.
Zong 4G’s small gesture of giving back to the Autistic Society indicates that the well-being of every child is important.
